Born in Ho Chi Minh City in 2019, Green Box began with a desire to create a destination for simple, seasonal, healthy food.

Founded by Rohan, Green Box began as a passion project rooted in a lifetime of hospitality. After cutting his hospo teeth in London cafés at 18, he retrained as a chef in Melbourne at 26, an experience that reshaped his approach to food and highlighted the power an eatery has in connecting a community.
Moving to Vietnam in 2016, Rohan launched Green Box three years later as a Ho Chi Minh City pop-up. The vision was simple: create the kind of relaxed, welcoming spot everyone wants to eat at, centered around fresh food that makes you smile and leaves you with a full belly.
Green Box grew alongside a generational shift toward healthier, more conscious eating. Using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, what started as a personal passion project has grown into a community, guided by one simple rule: fresh food that doesn’t cost the earth, nor destroy it.
